Douglas Quin is composing a new work for the acclaimed Kronos Quartet. Polar Suite brings together violin, viola, cello, soundscape recordings from the northern and southern polar regions of the earth and outer space, digitally processed samples derived from these recordings, and interactive electronics including the K-Bow.
